CA-RD designed a special pool house project for my family that we have dreamed about for years. He brought our ideas to life in a very knowledgeable and exciting way. We also worked on a commercial project together for my work and CA-RD was the most professional, best creative/project manager I've ever worked with. I highly recommend them to my friends and family and to anyone on this site looking for a highly talented and approachable company to bring any design, build or vision to life.

I can't say enough about how awesome it's been to work with CA-RD. From brainstorming to design to implementation, it's always a joy. JD and the team are trusted professionals who we've trusted to bring our vision to life for our restaurant interior. JD has been able to take ideas that we've been noodling on for years and take it to the next level by presenting creative interpretations that meet our needs and keeping us focused on moving the project forward. Additionally, he backs up all his innovative ideas with concrete suggestions for construction/implementation and has been such an asset on site. He takes the time to understand us, our story, and our goals; he has an attention to detail that is priceless; he follows through and does what he says he's going to do. I've had the privilege of working with CA-RD on several different projects for our nationally known consumer brand and I couldn't recommend him more highly. He has the rare blend of incredible taste when designing, superb attention to detail, and is also able to turn around his work in a very good timeframe. We've been able to have JD design and project management several things for us and they all ended up on time and on budget...also a rarity in the world of construction. JD is an amazing talent, easy to work with, and over delivers on pre-planning and visuals. If you have the opportunity to work with him on a project...take it!

CA-RD took on the project of reimagining and expanding the footprint of our quirky but promising mid-century home. JD found ways to achieve each of our design priorities of natural light, honor & integrate with the original style, and add a master suite, in a way that created a solid base for the next 30 years. CARD held to their original timeline even when a few set backs occurred, and came in just under the quoted budget. Through great conversations, ingenuity, and a lot of hard work the CA-RD team transformed our house into a modern gem that brings joy and harmony at every angle.

CA-RD was our architect and contractor for a home remodel. Working with an architect on a home remodel really elevates the experience and end product. JD’s love for architecture and minimalism is inspiring. He listens to his clients desires and interests and quietly contemplates how he can best achieve that in the final product. As the plans are finalized and the space takes shape you will see your conversations, ideas and desires integrated into your new home. Ultimately, our home was elevated because of his insight and minimalist touches. We love the flow, attention to detail and natural light that was realized in our home. Working with JD on our second restaurant was a real treat! He not only listened to my ideas, he was able to see my vision through from conception to reality. The attention to detail not only on design and build but also on the personal and human side was unparalleled. I am the type of client that knows exactly what I want—repurpose a building to bring out all of its most important assets to make it our own using real materials like wood, stone and concrete. I’ve always said that simplicity is hard to achieve and it’s all in the details. It was such a pleasure working with JD who was not only the architect but also the GC so he could see his vision all the way through to the finish. I would recommend CA-RD and JD to anyone who is looking to build something minimalistic with a heavy attention to detail who respects the past and embraces the future.!

I researched JD’s work through his LinkedIn and was amazed at the work he did while at BBA. I knew at that time that he would be the perfect Architect to hire for my project. working with him was an exemption all pleasure, and the detail he gave to every vision I had for my studio was above approach. Since receiving his final CAD for my studio design I have gotten nothing but highest praise for his work from Architects and Builders in the Polk County area. In my opinion JD’s work is something special which will most certainly place him in the Top 10 Architects of the Future! I have referred at least 10 Companies and Residential builders to him since debuting the work he has done for my studio! Anyone who hires JD will experience the same pride and satisfaction in his work as I did!

I do not want to dilute a 5 star review but JD is one of the few who deserves this rating. He was prompt and concise. As a small business owner who is building out a new café it was a very daunting task however, Jd helped to manage our expectations and the timeline of the project to the day which I thought was never possible. We will be using him again for all future projects
